Little moves me away from a site faster than hearing audio I don’t want to hear. Myspace is full of sites with unsolicited music to interfere with whatever you have going on in your own office.
I thought it was just me. Maybe my age made me closed-minded to whatever that noise was that was coming from my PC speakers in place of John, Paul, George and Ringo. But it’s not just me. The 19 and 16-year-olds in my house dislike it as well. Often I’ll hear a song start up on the Stir’s computer and hear her growl, “I HATE sites with music!”
A quick googling delivered a solution that seems to work in all my browsers. It is here.
I did exactly what Mr. Skelton suggests, except I first backed up my “hosts” file, in case I did something I’d not intended. Give it a try.
