News today (August 19, 2008) from Point Marion, PA indicates that an 85-year-old woman walked right past an intruder into her bedroom to get her gun. She then held the 17-year-old at gunpoint, instructing him to call 911. You can read the full article here.

While dictators and burglars prefer unarmed citizens, I think that when a woman has a gun… it’s generally not a bad thing.
