We all want grace when we blow it. But, while we value grace that’s pointed our way, we sometimes don’t appreciate grace that’s given to others. Especially when those “others” are people we don’t like very much. That was true of Jonah.
You probably think that Jonah’s story is about Jonah and the whale. It’s not really. It’s might be more properly titled, Jonah and the Vine, because it is through the vine in chapter four that God speaks to Jonah about grace, the theme of the book.
